Philly trade show next week! Keystone Skateboards will be in the house. Stop by and see Ronnie Gordon and Alex Duke and a billion other people. Our booth will be hooked up with our 2010 Spring/ Summer apparel and decks along with some other interesting stuff. There will also be all these cool events going down over a 3 day period. Be sure to go. If you are a retailer please sign up before so they know you are coming.
The guys were to stop off at Dukes Old Skool Skateshop in Jewett City, CT on Sunday 12.13.09 but Mother Nature wanted to piss ice and rain on them so they were forced to head indoors. (By the way, we will be back in CT soon to skate with our friends at Dukes) After being stuck in traffic for hours they all met up at Haven Skatepark in New Haven, CT and had a good time. The set up was good and Desimas even pulled off a 30 tricks in 20 minute clip. Check the footage below…
Even though John didn't make the cut to the finals he did a good of destroying the set up and the guys had a blast down in Tampa. Here is some more photos of what went down...
We have John Desimas all signed up for this years Tampa AM. From the looks of it there is over 200 people entered in this thing. Good luck John. More info at www.skateparkoftampa.com.
We are going to Garden Skate to do a demo on December 12th. You will also be able to get our decks there very soon. Look for more info and a flier very soon. Check out the pirate bowl and the rest of Garden Skate here.
Ok. With bad weather all around the northeast for the 2nd part of the tour the guys were forced to miss the demo they had lined up at Dukes Oldskool in CT on Tuesday. We should be back up there the weekend of Dec. 13th. We also have a demo coming up at Garden Skate Dec. 12th. (you can get our decks there now too) So it looks like we will be bringing back the Gnarvest Tour for 2 extra dates. Sorry to all our homies in CT. It will be worth the wait. Fuck you mother nature.
After the Underwood demo on Monday the guys headed home to Philly and had a late night sesh at the Philly warehouse. Look for all of this in a future issue of Topic East Coast Magazine.
The guys went to Underwood for stop 3 of the Gnarvest Tour. Had a small game of SKATE with some locals and a dude walked away with a Keystone deck. The thing that sucked about this stop was kids had school so not many showed up. Plus the place is never open on a Monday but they made an exception today for us. The crew had fun.
Joe Dirt was there. He is still down with Keystone. We love you Joe!
The guys were up early, got it the van and headed to CharmCity Skatepark in Baltimore, MD.
The kid claims to have no pop. Just messin around... After the demo the guys hit some street spots. This was the text I got from Matt Rathman- "We just got pursued by a police helicopter from the spot n then pulled over. Ronnie landed a trick under the police helicopterlite. No lie!" Turns out the spot they were at had a lot of break ins so the ghetto bird folloed the guys and then three cop cars pulled them over. No biggie. I love Gilberts face in this shot below.
All set for the Keystone Skateboards Fall Gnarvest Tour tour. Ronnie Gordon, John Desimas, Chris Gedney, Alex Duke, Ryan Gilbert, Matt Rathman, Nick Swanson. Topic East Coast mag along for the trip and more! www.keystoneskateboards.com
John Montesi is a east coast legend. The guy just opened another Westside Skateshop in Clearwater Florida. This past weekend they had a grand opening/ BBQ. You can get Keystone decks in there now too. Pretty cool...
