Keystone Six Pack with Ronnie Gordon

What was the idea behind your new “Pirate/ Skate camp” deck with Keystone?
Well first off the Pirate/ Skate Camp board was based on three things. My love for skate camp and all great times and friends I've made over the last ten summers there. Second the camp is a YMCA camp. So it has five camps around a lake in the woods. The other camps would turn there noses up at us. They started calling us dirty pirates and the pirate camp. The camp is at the bottom of the national park. An hour up the mountain from Fresno CA. It has super dry summers. So sweat and dust make for awesome scum status! Finally my homie Matt Ward is the pirate in the board graphic. That custom he's wearing is about a $1000.00 which he purchased at Pirate conventions. Matt is a true Pirate has about ten tattoo's on various parts of his body. All which are Pirates or have something to do with Pirate culture.

What do you have planned for the spring and summer of 2010?
Going down to Tampa Fl March 10th to the 15th to compete in Tampa pro street contest. After that we have a bunch of weekend warrior demos with Keystone. Probably going to have school until July do to all the snow days we've had! Going back out to California for skate camp in the summer.

You go and do a lot of demos for Keystone. What was the best one so far?
Well that's a tough one because they've all been the best in some way. But probably the first one I ever did with Keystone. It was at Underwood skate park in Taylor PA. It was with the original team. Joe Dirt R.I.P., Matt Rathman, myself, and Kyle Keeler along with guests Ki Realer an Alex Duke. Also it was the first time meeting all of them and skating with them.

Tunes?
The Misfits, Samhain, Metallica, Dinosaur jr, The Sword, Rob Zombie, Public Enemy, Metric, Tegan and Sara, and Bat for Lashes

Favorite mustache style?
Probably the Bert Reynolds he has a killer one!

What are your top 5 east coast rippers of all time?
Fred Gall, Ricky Oyola, Chris Cole, Mike Vallely, and Pete Eldridge! If I could put three more it would be PJ Ladd, Bobby Puleo and Ryan Hickey!

For our friends down south

Never Fails

Whenever we try to go on a trip for a demo in the New England states we get a ton of snow.

Out in AZ

Seen this on the Thrasher website from the Emerica In AZ tour thing. Check out the deck of little kid giving the thumbs up. I guess our boy Roger at Smiley's skateshop is doing a good job of pushing our decks. If you are out in AZ be sure to check them out at

We will miss you Dirt

Joe rode for me for both Lost Soul Skateboards and then later on when I started up Keystone Skateboards. The guy was a dirty as his name, had a take no prisoners attitude when it came to having fun and skateboarding. If you ever met him you would know he is a character and a half. He will be missed.
